As a coach and facilitator . . .
I'm a highly experienced speaker, workshop leader, copywriting trainer and creative strategist known for bringing a special touch of fairy dust to everything I do.
I bring over 30 years of knowledge and insight gained from a career in the creative industries that has taken me from marketing at Penguin books to Creative Director at Hachette UK, via the film company Momentum Pictures.
I love coaching because it is about questioning exploring and listening, and because I believe everyone has the answers if only we can find a way to hear them.
Drop me an email auriol@auriolb.com and let's talk about what you want and need and find the solution that suits you best . . .
I started out on the shop-floor of Monsoon, where I fell in love with colour and pattern and the happy smiles of customers who had found just the thing they wanted.
I learned the ropes of Marketing at Penguin -- the biggest book brand of them all. From sending out mysterious packages of fishing hooks as a teaser mailing for Alex Garland's The Beach to launching Tracey Emin's authobiography in Venice, with many million-copy-bestsellers in between, I've worked with some of the most amazing talents and met some of the most inspirational people of our times.
I'm so proud to have been co-founder and co-director of the Greenwich Book Festival. I have run creative writing workshops and hosted a Book Group for 9-12 year olds at our local children's store. And as Creative Director for Hachette UK, I was mentor, creative coach and strategist. I'm still in love with those happy smiles of people finding just the thing that's right for them . . .
